Aegis, James Lee Witt Associates Will Demonstrate New RadioBridge Technology to Municipalities

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 9, 2006) – Aegis Assessments, Inc. (OTC BB: AGSI), a wireless technology company that provides products that improve emergency communications for homeland security, public safety and commercial applications, today announced that it plans to have James Lee Witt Associates assist Aegis with introducing its SafetyNet™ RadioBridge™ to emergency services organizations through out the U.S. beginning in April. The company plans to demonstrate the RadioBridge to dozens of federal, state and local public safety agencies, as well as utilities and universities.

The RadioBridge is a portable wireless device that interconnects incompatible radios and bridges them to provide radio interoperability at an emergency site. Aegis retained James Lee Witt Associates in December 2005 to introduce the RadioBridge technology to emergency services organizations. James Lee Witt Associates is a public safety and crisis management consulting firm founded by James Lee Witt, former Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Mr. Witt was credited with turning FEMA from an unsuccessful bureaucratic agency to an internationally lauded, all-hazards disaster management agency.

"The Aegis RadioBridge™ is a valuable tool for first responders and is part of the answer to the problem of interoperability," commented James Lee Witt. "There is a pressing need for radio interoperability for first responders, and a portable wireless device can greatly assist with that. Recent emergencies, including the attacks on September 11, demonstrated the lack of interoperability between various first responders, and clearly pointed out the need for improvements in this critical area of our homeland defense."

Mr. Witt has over 25 years of disaster management experience, culminating in his appointment as the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, where he served from 1993-2001. James Lee Witt Associates was launched in 2001, specializing in public safety and emergency services for the public and private sectors. In 2003, he became the Chief Executive Officer of the International Code Council (ICC), a 50,000-member association dedicated to building safety that develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools.

Communications interoperability among first responders is a high priority for approximately 50,000 public safety agencies in the United States, including 18,000 state and local law enforcement agencies, 26,000 fire departments, 6,000 emergency medical responders and several thousand utility and infrastructure public agencies. Industry officials estimate that the cost of purchasing new radio systems for every agency in the country could reach $18 billion nationwide.
