PREPARED CONFERENCE TO LITTLE ROCK, ARK.
NEW YORK--September 1-- GlobalOptions Group, Inc. (OTCBB: GOPG), a leading provider of domestic and international risk management services, today announced James Lee Witt, Chief Executive Officer of their crisis management and preparedness services unit, James Lee Witt Associates, will bring The Sprint Nextel Prepared conferences to Arkansas, Witt's home state. Nearly 100 Prepared conferences, focusing on public safety and new advances communication technologies developed to serve both the public and private sectors, are being conducted nationwide over the next several years.

Mr. Witt will serve as keynote speaker at the luncheon held on Thursday, September 6, at 12:00 Noon. Other speakers will include Governor Mike Beebe of Arkansas, Charles Warner, Fire Chief of Charlottesville, VA, and Chris Hackett, Vice President of Public Sector Programs for Sprint Nextel.

Mr. Witt established a Little Rock arm of James Lee Witt Associates with six permanent staff members and resides in Dardanelle, Ark.
The Arkansas series of the Sprint Nextel Prepared conference will be held Thursday, September 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. In addition, a grant funding workshop will immediately follow.
An opening reception is scheduled for September 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Clinton Presidential Library with welcome address by Arkansas State Attorney General Dustin McDaniel.
