Sprint Nextel Prepared Conferences

JLWA provides keynote speakers for quarterly Sprint Nextel Prepared Conferences across the country. Our principals offer valuable insight at these forums into the necessity interoperability and other important issues relating to preparedness, and response and recovery efforts. During Prepared Conferences JLWA stresses the need for extensive training for first responders and the formation of public-private partnerships before an emergency strikes. Other topics include new communications strategies made possible with Sprint Nextel solutions partners.

In addition to the Prepared Conferences, James Lee Witt Associates participates at other venues and meetings in conjunction with Sprint Nextel. Our principals promote Sprint Nextel's unrivaled abilities in the field of emergency response at a variety of events, from forums on emergency management and terrorism to the 100th anniversary commemoration of the San Francisco Earthquake.

Political and Strategic Advisory Services

JLWA bridges government with the private sector on behalf of Sprint Nextel by providing political and strategic advice on the federal, state and local levels; by advising and counseling Sprint Nextel on the unique aspects of working with public sector entities; and, by participating in Sprint Nextel sponsored events and other industry conferences.

On the federal level, JLWA organizes meetings with Congressional offices and federal agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission, to discuss public safety spectrum allocation issues. JLWA attends Congressional committee hearings and press conferences, monitors significant legislation, and introduces outside experts to members of Congress, when requested. JLWA has advised Sprint Nextel on strategies to market to potential federal and public safety clients, including the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Citizen Corps.

On the state and local levels, JLWA makes strategic introductions between Sprint Nextel leadership and key local and state government leaders, such as governors, state emergency management directors, university presidents and risk managers, and many other emergency management and public safety professionals.

JLWA works with Sprint Nextel to expand market share for Sprint Nextel's utility practice by offering strategic and technical advice regarding specific marketing-related issues and facilitating key introductions to potential solutions partners.
