GlobalOptions Group Develops Emergency Management Program for Pulaski Technical College

Program to be Implemented Across Several Campus Locations

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 11, 2008--GlobalOptions Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOI), a leading provider of domestic and international risk management services, today announced that James Lee Witt Associates (JLWA), its Crisis Management and Preparedness Division, has developed a comprehensive emergency management program that is now being implemented at Pulaski Technical College in Arkansas, the state's largest two-year college. Upon completion of this phase, Pulaski Tech will be a model for other colleges seeking to implement similar programs.

The college serves Pulaski, Saline, Lonoke and Faulkner counties in central Arkansas with locations in the cities of North Little Rock, Little Rock, Benton and Bauxite and provides education and career training to over 8,900 students. JLWA was hired in July of 2007 to work with Pulaski Technical College on the development of emergency operations and business continuity plans.

"Pulaski Tech has taken the important step of developing an emergency management program," said James Lee Witt, Chief Executive Officer of James Lee Witt Associates. "We hope that many more universities across the country will follow Pulaski Tech's lead in building safer campuses and protecting their students and campus community."

"James Lee Witt Associates helped us implement a college-wide emergency management program," said Dr. Dan F. Bakke, President, Pulaski Technical College. "Keeping our campus prepared is our number one priority, and with subsequent training that has been conducted, we are confident in our abilities to handle a potential disaster."

"It is a tremendous step to have a plan in place before an emergency, but even more important is to inform and train the staff in order to achieve its effectiveness," said Dr. Harvey Schiller, Chairman and CEO of GlobalOptions Group, Inc. "Pulaski Tech should be commended on their initiative to keep their campus community as knowledgeable and well-prepared as possible."
