Under our MOBIS contract's Special Item Number (SIN) 874-1 for Consulting Services, we provide a full range of proven and innovative approaches to assist organizations in planning to meet the challenges associated with crisis and emergency conditions and continuity of operations.  Through our expert advice, assistance, guidance, and counseling, we help our partners in situational analysis and the development of organizational policies and procedures to mitigate the effect of such emergencies and facilitate recovery should the organization be impacted.

Our services include performing studies, analyses and reports that document our developmental, consultative or implementation efforts.  Examples of our consultation include strategic, business and action planning; process improvement; systems alignment; organizational assessments; program audits, evaluations, and customized training and exercise development and implementation.

Disaster Recovery Purchasing

Section 833 of the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2007 (Public Law 109-364) amended 40 U.S.C. 502 authorized the Administrator of General Services to provide for the use of Federal Supply Schedules by state and local governments for the purchase of products and services to be used to facilitate recovery from major disasters, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attacks.

Cooperative Purchasing

The Cooperative Purchasing Program allows for state and local government entities to purchase from contracts awarded under GSA Schedule 84, Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facility Management Systems, Fire, Rescue, Special Purpose Clothing, Marine Craft, and Emergency/Disaster Response.

Under the Program Support Center (PSC) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, MAXIMUS Federal Services provides the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) with expertise in identifying, analyzing, synthesizing, evaluating, and disseminating information on effective and cost-efficient programs and policies to assist the Department in discharging its critical responsibilties.  Any Federal civilian or military government agency is able to contract with MAXIMUS Federal Services through this task order.  Witt Associates is a subcontractor to Maximus on this contract.
